Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the left instrument panel (IP) insulator. Refer to CLOSEOUT/INSULATOR PANEL REPLACEMENT - Left .
  2. Remove the steering column filler. Refer to Steering Column Filler Replacement .
  3. Remove the knee bolster bracket bolts at the IP.

  4. Remove the knee bolster bracket bolts at the steering column support.
  5. Remove the knee bolster from the IP.
