Installation Procedure

  1. Install the knee bolster bracket to the IP.
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
  2. Install the knee bolster bracket bolts at the steering column support.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  3. Install the knee bolster bracket bolts at the IP.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the bolts to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

  4. Install the steering column filler. Refer to Steering Column Filler Replacement .
  5. Install the left IP insulator. Refer to CLOSEOUT/INSULATOR PANEL REPLACEMENT - Left .
