Removal Procedure

Remove the ashtray. Refer to Ashtray Replacement .
Release the electrical connector retainer tabs from the lighter element.

Disconnect the electrical connector from the lighter element.

Remove the lighter element retainer by unscrewing the retainer.
Remove the lighter element.
