Installation Procedure

  1. Install the engine mount strut bracket to the head.
    NOTE: Refer toFASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the engine mount strut bracket bolts.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the engine mount strut bracket bolts to 50 N.m (37 lb ft).

  3. Install the engine mount strut to the left engine mount strut bracket. Refer to ENGINE MOUNT STRUT REPLACEMENT - LEFT  and ENGINE MOUNT STRUT REPLACEMENT - RIGHT  .
  4. Install the radiator support clamp to the engine mount strut bolt.
  5. Install the engine coolant temperature sensor. Refer to ENGINE CONTROLS - REMOVAL & INSTALLATION - V6 & V8 in Engine Performance - Removal and Installation.
  6. Fill the cooling system with engine coolant. Refer to DRAINING AND FILLING COOLING SYSTEM in Engine Cooling.
