Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2003 Pontiac Grand Prix. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Install the engine mount bracket to the engine mount.
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the engine mount upper nuts.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the engine mount upper nuts to 47 N.m (35 lb ft).

  3. Install the motor mount. Refer to ENGINE MOUNT REPLACEMENT  .
  4. Lower the vehicle.
  5. Lower the engine.
  6. Connect the battery ground (negative) cable. Refer to BATTERY NEGATIVE CABLE DISCONNECT/CONNECT PROCEDURE in Battery.
