EVAP Canister Purge Valve Removal & Installation

  1. Remove the engine cover. See ENGINE COVER . Disconnect the Evaporative (EVAP) emission purge pipe.
  2. Disconnect the purge valve electrical connector. See Figure. Remove the purge valve mounting nuts. Remove the engine wiring harness bracket from the mounting stud. Remove the purge valve from the intake manifold. To install, reverse removal procedure.
