Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the right instrument panel insulator. Refer to CLOSEOUT/INSULATOR PANEL REPLACEMENT - RIGHT .
  2. Remove the instrument panel compartment. Refer to COMPARTMENT REPLACEMENT - INSTRUMENT PANEL (I/P) .
  3. Disconnect the vacuum line from the recirculation actuator.
  4. Lift to release the recirculation actuator retaining tab and slide off mounting bracket.
  5. Disconnect the vacuum actuator plunger rod from the recirculation lever.
  6. Remove the recirculation actuator.
