Removal & Installation

Remove the engine cover. See ENGINE COVER . Disconnect the fuel supply tube at the solenoid. Remove the spring clamp and fuel outlet hose from the solenoid. Disconnect the Red idle control solenoid electrical connector. Remove the 2 solenoid mounting bolts. Position the solenoid and install the 2 mounting bolts. Connect the fuel outlet hose and spring clamp. Connect the fuel supply tube. Connect the electrical connector. Start the engine and use Leak Detector (J 41416) in order to inspect for leaks at each serviced fitting.
