Removal & Installation

Remove the engine cover. See ENGINE COVER  . Disconnect the fuel supply tube at Idle Control Solenoid (ICS). Remove the spring clamp and fuel outlet hose from ICS. Disconnect the electrical connector. The ICS connector is red. Remove mounting bolts. To install, position the ICS and install the 2 mounting bolts. Tighten the bolts. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  . Connect the fuel outlet hose and spring clamp. Connect the fuel supply tube. Connect the electrical connector. Start the engine and use Ultrasonic Leak Detector (J 41416) in order to inspect for leaks at each serviced fitting. Install the engine cover.
