Removal & Installation

Remove the engine cover. See ENGINE COVER  . Disconnect the low pressure regulator reference line at the Fuel Control Solenoid (FCS). Remove the spring clamp and atmospheric reference hose from the FCS. Disconnect the electrical connector. The FCS connector is Black. Remove the 2 FCS mounting bolts. Remove the FCS. To install, position the FCS and install the 2 mounting bolts. Tighten the bolts. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  . Connect the atmospheric reference hose and the spring clamp. Connect the low pressure regulator reference line. Connect the electrical connector. Start the engine and use Ultrasonic Leak Detector (J 41416) in order to inspect for leaks at each serviced fitting. Install the engine cover.
