Installation Procedure

  1. Using the J 36503  install the new rear oil seal.

  2. Install the rear propeller shaft. Refer to PROPELLER SHAFT REPLACEMENT - ONE PIECE or PROPELLER SHAFT REPLACEMENT - TWO PIECE in DRIVE SHAFT article.
  3. Fill the transmission to the proper fluid level. Refer to TRANSMISSION FLUID REPLACEMENT .
  4. Lower the vehicle.
