Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2002 Pontiac Grand Prix. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Align the marks on the hose and Install the outlet hose to the radiator.
  2. Use J 38185  in order to reposition and install the hose clamp to the radiator.
  3. Install the lower air deflector. Refer to Radiator Air Baffle and Deflector Replacement - Lower .
  4. Lower the vehicle.

  5. Align the marks on the hose and install the radiator outlet hose (3) to the water pump housing (1).
  6. Use J 38185  in order to reposition and install the hose clamp to the water pump housing
  7. Fill the cooling system. Refer to Draining and Filling Cooling System .
