Installation Procedure

  1. Install the cooling fans.
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
  2. Install the cooling fan shroud bolts.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the bolts to 6 N.m (53 Ib in).

  3. Connect the engine cooling fan electrical connector.

  4. Connect the wiring harness to the left side fan shroud clip.
  5. Install the transmission oil cooler lines to the fan shroud clip.
  6. Install the air cleaner assembly. Refer to AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY .
  7. Install the left and the right engine mount struts. Refer to ENGINE MOUNT STRUT REPLACEMENT for 3.1L or ENGINE MOUNT STRUT REPLACEMENT - LEFT and ENGINE MOUNT STRUT REPLACEMENT - RIGHT for 3.8L.
