Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2002 Pontiac Grand Prix. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Install the engine cooling fan motor.
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
  2. Install the cooling fan motor bolts.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the bolts to 6 N.m (53 Ib in).

  3. Install the engine cooling fan blade.
  4. Install the engine cooling fan blade nut.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the nut to 6 N.m (53 Ib in).

  5. Connect the engine cooling fan motor electrical connectors.
  6. Install the engine cooling fan heat shields.
  7. Install the engine cooling fan assembly. Refer to Cooling Fan Replacement - Electric .
