Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to LIFTING AND JACKING THE VEHICLE .
  2. Remove the engine oil drain plug in order to drain the engine oil.

  3. Disconnect the oil level sensor electrical connector.
  4. Remove the engine oil level sensor from the oil pan.
