Installation Procedure

NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
  1. Install the engine oil level sensor to the oil pan.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the sensor to 20 N.m (15 lb ft).

  2. Connect the oil level sensor electrical connector.

  3. Install the engine oil drain plug.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the plug to 30 N.m (22 lb ft).

  4. Lower the vehicle.
  5. Fill the crankcase with engine oil. Refer to Engine Oil and Oil Filter Replacement .
