Removal & Installation (2.4L)

The Knock Sensor (KS) is located in the engine block. See Fig 1. Turn ignition off. Disconnect negative battery cable. Raise and support vehicle. Loosen KS fastener. Disconnect KS electrical connector. Remove KS. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten KS to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
