Removal & Installation (2.4L)

Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) sensor is located in the intake manifold, next to the throttle body. See Fig 1. Turn ignition off. Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove the air cleaner outlet resonator. Disconnect the MAP sensor electrical connector. Remove the MAP sensor screw. Remove the MAP sensor vacuum hose. Remove the MAP sensor. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten MAP sensor screw to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
