Removal & Installation (2.2L - VIN F)

Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) sensor is located in the intake manifold. See Fig 1. Turn ignition off. Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove the air cleaner outlet resonator. Disconnect the accelerator and cruise control cables from the throttle body and the accelerator bracket. Remove the 2 accelerator bracket nuts. Remove the accelerator bracket from the throttle body. Disconnect the MAP sensor harness connector. Remove the MAP sensor from the intake manifold. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten accelerator bracket nuts to 89 INCH lbs. (10 N.m).
