Removal & Installation

Fuel Tank Pressure (FTP) sensor is located on fuel sender assembly. See Fig 1. Release fuel system pressure. See FUEL SYSTEM PRESSURE RELEASE (GASOLINE) . Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove fuel tank. See FUEL TANK (GASOLINE) . Disconnect FTP sensor electrical connector. Remove FTP sensor. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten fasteners to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Inspect for leaks by using the following procedure:
