Removal (2.2L - VIN F)

Release fuel pressure. See FUEL SYSTEM PRESSURE RELEASE (GASOLINE) . Remove the air cleaner outlet resonator. Disconnect the vacuum pipe from the fuel pressure regulator. See Fig 1. Remove the engine fuel supply and return pipes. See FUEL LINE DISCONNECT FITTINGS . Disconnect the fuel injector harness connectors. Remove the "O" rings from the fuel rail and pipes connections. Remove fuel rail. Remove the fuel injector retainer clip. Remove the fuel injector from the fuel rail.
