Removal & Installation

Low Pressure Regulator (LPR) is located in Gas Distribution Adapter (GDP). See Figure. Release fuel pressure. See FUEL SYSTEM PRESSURE RELEASE (CNG) . Disconnect negative battery cable. Disconnect fuel lines and plug openings. Remove low pressure fuel regulator. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten all fasteners to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Using Ultrasonic Leak Detector (J 41416), check for CNG fuel leaks at each serviced fitting. Check and refill coolant as needed.
