Installation Procedure

NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE Cautions and Notices.

Install the upper retractor and attaching bolt.
Tighten

Tighten the upper retractor bolt to 41 N.m (31 lb ft).
Install the lower retractor and attaching bolt.
Tighten

Tighten the lower retractor bolt to 47 N.m (35 lb ft).

Install the lock pillar lower trim panel.
Install the sill plate.

Install the lock pillar upper trim panel.
Install the screw attaching the upper trim panel to the lock pillar.
Tighten

Tighten the upper lock pillar trim screw to 1.8 N.m (16 lb in).

Install the spacer and washer to the seat belt harness bracket stud.
Install the upper guide to the stud.
Install the nut attaching the upper guide to the stud.
Tighten

Tighten the upper guide nut to 40 N.m (29 lb ft).

Snap the upper guide cover closed.
