Installation Procedure

  1. Install a spring clip to the right and left side of the lift window panel aligning the lower edge of the clip with the upper edge of the auxiliary seal (1).
  2. Apply a thin continuous bead of weatherstrip sealant inside the forward lip of the lid.
  3. Apply a thin bead of sealant, on the lower side of the lip, from the corners up approximately 400mm (16 in).

  4. Position the weatherstrip to the panel.
    • The curved surface of the weatherstrip must point up.
    • Work from each end toward the centerline.

  5. Align the small notch (3) near the end of the weatherstrip over the edge of the lift window panel.
  6. Insert the flange of the weatherstrip into the spring clip (2).
  7. Install the remainder of the weatherstrip (1).
  8. Install the lift window panel. Refer to LIFT WINDOW PANEL REPLACEMENT - REAR  .
