Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the console. Refer to CONSOLE REPLACEMENT in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.
  2. Disconnect the electrical connector from the rear compartment lid release switch.
  3. Using a small flat bladed tool, release the switch retaining tabs from the underside of the console.
  4. Remove the switch from the console.
