Removal Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2003 Chevrolet Corvette. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

Important:  The body pressure relief valve should be replaced whenever it is removed from the vehicle. Before installing the valve remove any loose material from the edge of the body opening. If fraying has occurred apply an edge conditioner to bond the composite fibers together before installing the valve.

  1. Remove the rear storage area left rear corner carpet panel.
  2. Pry the valve from the rear compartment side body panel.
