Removal Procedure

- Remove the rear tire and wheel. Refer to TIRE AND WHEEL REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION in Tires and Wheels.
- Remove the bolts attaching the wheelhouse liner panel.
- Remove the wheelhouse liner panel.
- Remove the nut from fuel door release cable.
- Remove the fuel filler door. Refer to FUEL FILLER DOOR REPLACEMENT .
- Remove the screws mounting the fuel pocket.
- Remove the fuel cap.
- Remove the screws and the filler neck from the pocket.
- Remove the fuel filler pocket.
