Removal Procedure

The electronically operated fuel filler door can be manually opened by pulling on the manual release cable. The manual release cable is located:

  1. Open the fuel filler door.
  2. Remove the fuel cap retaining strap.
  3. Remove the screws mounting the fuel door to the quarter panel.

  4. Remove the bolt mounting the fuel door to the inner body panel.
  5. Remove the fuel door.
