Installation Procedure

  1. Position the fuel filler door in an open position to the fuel pocket.
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the bolt attaching the door to the inner panel.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the fuel filler door bolt to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

  3. Install the screws attaching the fuel filler door to the quarter panel.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the filler door to quarter panel screws to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

  4. Install the fuel cap retaining strap.
