Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the windshield side garnish moldings. Refer to WINDSHIELD SIDE GARNISH MOLDING REPLACEMENT  .

  2. Remove the trim panels from the front side of the rear compartment. Refer to TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT - REAR COMPARTMENT FRONT SIDE (COUPE)  or TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT - REAR COMPARTMENT FRONT SIDE (CONVERTIBLE)  or TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT - REAR COMPARTMENT FRONT SIDE (HARDTOP) .
  3. Support the headlining.

  4. Remove the retainer from the center of the rear edge of the headlining.

  5. Remove the sunshades. Refer to SUNSHADE REPLACEMENT  . 
  6. Remove the sunshade bezels.
  7. Remove the sunshade supports.
  8. Remove the headlining.
