Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the seat. Refer to SEAT REPLACEMENT (POWER)  or SEAT REPLACEMENT (MANUAL) .

  2. Remove the adjuster adjustment bar (non-power seat).

  3. Remove the seat cushion cover. Refer to SEAT CUSHION TRIM COVER AND PAD REPLACEMENT .
  4. Remove the seat cushion foam.

  5. Reposition the lumbar pump, if equipped.

    Remove the tie straps and reposition the pump and pouch up through the seat support wires.

  6. Remove the seat belt harness from the seat frame (left seat).
  7. Remove the memory seat control module, if equipped.

  8. Remove the buckle side of the seat belt.

  9. Remove the bolts (design 1) or the nuts (design 2) mounting the seat to the adjuster.
  10. Remove the adjuster.
  11. Transfer parts as necessary.
