Installation Procedure

  1. Apply a bead of sealer, GM P/N 12345739 or Canadian P/N 10953472, or equivalent to the front seal surface of the lock pillar stowage compartment and to the surround flange.
  2. Remove the paper backing from the adhesive on the bottom of the molded ends of the weatherstrip.
  3. Position the molded ends of the weatherstrip to the lock pillars.
  4. Tuck the outboard lip of the seal underneath the flange of the quarter panels.
  5. Secure the molded ends of the weatherstrip with the retainers.

  6. Firmly secure the weatherstrip to the stowage compartment flange.
  7. Close the folding top stowage compartment.
  8. Reposition the folding top to the original position.
