Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the roof panel.

  2. Remove the sunshade. Refer to SUNSHADE REPLACEMENT in Interior Trim.
  3. Remove the side and upper garnish moldings. Refer to WINDSHIELD UPPER GARNISH MOLDING REPLACEMENT in Interior Trim.

  4. Mark the location of the striker to aid in installation.
  5. Remove the bolts attaching the striker.
  6. Remove the striker.
