Removal Procedure

  1. Using a heat gun heat the protector/molding to soften the adhesive.
  2. Lift upward to remove the protector.
  3. Remove all old adhesive from the lid depression by using 3M™ adhesive remover P/N 8984 or equivalent.
  4. Clean the surface with a 50/50 mixture of isopropyl alcohol and water.
  5. Dry the surface with a clean cloth.
