Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the air inlet grille. Refer to AIR INLET GRILLE PANEL REPLACEMENT  .

  2. Mark the perimeter of the latch using a grease pencil.
  3. Remove the bolts attaching the latch.

  4. Remove the cable from the push-in retainer attaching the cable sheath to the wheelhouse panel.
  5. Disconnect the cable sheath grommet from the latch.
  6. Disconnect the cable end from the latch.
