Removal Procedure

  1. Mark the location of the hinge on the hood and the rail using a grease pencil.
  2. Remove the hood struts.

  3. Support the hood in a partially open position so that access is provided to the forward bolt attaching the hinge to the hood.
  4. Remove the bolts attaching the hinge to the hood.

  5. Remove the nuts attaching the hinge to the front side rail.

  6. Remove the hinge.
