Instrument Cluster Service Precautions

NOTE:
Whenever the Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) is removed from the vehicle, DO NOT set the IPC on its face for more than 15 minutes or damage to the fluid filled air core gages may result.
IMPORTANT:
If it is determined that an instrument panel cluster (IPC) needs to be shipped to an authorized Delco Service Center, the following MUST be observed.
The I/P cluster bezel (2) (along with the I/P dimmer switch and the DIC switch) MUST be REMOVED from the IPC (1) prior to shipping. The bezel and switches are then to be reused on the replacement IPC.
