Removal & Installation (4.3L)

  1. Turn ignition off. Disconnect sensor harness connector. MAP sensor is located on top center of engine. See Fig 1.
  2. Remove MAP sensor from intake manifold by pulling straight up with a slight rocking motion. Remove and discard MAP sensor grommet.

Install a NEW MAP sensor grommet onto the MAP sensor. Carefully install MAP sensor into intake manifold. Reconnect harness connector to MAP sensor.
