Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to TESTING FOR INTERMITTENT AND POOR CONNECTIONS in General Information.
  2. Remove the catalytic converter. Refer to CATALYTIC CONVERTER REPLACEMENT in Engine Exhaust.
  3. Disconnect the backup lamp switch electrical connector.

  4. Remove the backup lamp switch.
