Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to LIFTING AND JACKING THE VEHICLE in General Information.
  2. Support the front of the catalytic converter with an adjustable jack stand.
  3. Remove the exhaust pipe brace lower bolts.

  4. Remove the exhaust pipe hanger lower bolts.

  5. Remove the left and right exhaust manifold nuts.
  6. Lower the front of the catalytic converter.
  7. Remove the exhaust seal.
