Removal Procedure

- Drain the cooling system. Refer to DRAINING AND FILLING COOLING SYSTEM .
- Reposition the radiator outlet hose clamp from the water pump using J 38185 .
- Remove the radiator outlet hose from the water pump.
- Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to LIFTING AND JACKING THE VEHICLE in General Information.
- Reposition the radiator outlet hose clamp from the radiator using J 38185 .
- Remove the radiator outlet hose from the radiator.
