Test Description

The numbers below refer to the step numbers on the diagnostic table.

  1. 2. Tests for steering position sensor DTC stored in the EBCM. Always diagnose and repair all EBCM steering position sensor DTCs first before diagnosing a DTC C0710.
  2. 3. Test the steering position sensor data using a scan tool.
  3. 4. Tests the EBCM steering position sensor output voltage range.
