Fuel Filler Tube: Removal

  1. Drain the fuel tank. See FUEL TANK DRAINING . Raise and support vehicle. Loosen the fuel filler hose clamp at the fuel tank. Loosen the fuel filler hose clamp at the filler pipe.
  2. Disconnect the vapor recirculation line at the fuel filler pipe, if equipped. Remove the fuel filler hose. Remove the fuel filler pipe attaching screw from the underbody. Lower vehicle. Remove the fuel filler pipe attaching screws from the fuel filler pipe access panel. Remove the fuel filler pipe.
