Fuel Filler Tube: Installation

- Install the fuel filler pipe. Install the fuel filler pipe attaching screws to the fuel filler pipe access panel. Tighten the fuel filler pipe attaching screws to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
- Install the fuel filler pipe attaching screw to the underbody. Tighten the fuel filler pipe attaching screw to specification. Connect the vapor recirculation line at the fuel filler pipe, if equipped. Install the fuel filler hose. Inspect and make sure filler hose is fully seated on fuel tank port, and fuel filler pipe.
- Make sure clamp is properly located on tank port between the bead and tank. See Fig 1. Tighten the fuel tank filler hose clamps to specification. Lower the vehicle. Refill the fuel tank and install the fuel fill cap.
