Removal (3.8L - VIN 1)

Turn OFF the ignition. Remove fuel injector sight shield (upper engine cover) from engine. Disconnect the Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) sensor electrical connector. See Figure. Disconnect the MAP sensor vacuum hose. Remove the MAP sensor screws. Remove the MAP sensor from the bracket.
