Camshaft Position (CMP) Actuator Installation - Left Intake

    NOTE: Refer to Torque Reaction Against Timing Drive Chain Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  1. Use an open wrench on the hex cast into the camshaft in order to prevent camshaft rotation when tightening the camshaft position actuator bolt.
  2. Fig 1: Removing/Installing Camshaft Position (CMP) Actuator

  3. Install the left intake camshaft position actuator.
  4. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  5. Install the camshaft position actuator bolt.

    Tighten:  Tighten the camshaft position actuator bolt to 58 N.m (43 lb ft).
