Installation Procedure

  1. Install the floor air door into the HVAC module.

    IMPORTANT: Align the floor air door lever slot with the pin on the mode door main lever.
  3. Install the floor air door lever into the floor air door.
  4. Install the mode door actuator mounting bracket.
  5. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

  6. Install the mode door actuator mounting bracket screws.

    Tighten:  Tighten the screws to 0.9 N.m (8 lb in).

  7. Install the mode actuator. Refer to Mode Actuator Replacement in HVAC Systems - Manual or Mode Actuator Replacement in HVAC Systems - Automatic.
  8. Install the heater outlet duct. Refer to Air Outlet Replacement - Floor .
