Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2004 Pontiac Aztek and 2004 Buick Rendezvous. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

  1. Install the center floor duct.
  2. Connect the center floor duct to the rear floor duct.

  4. Connect the center floor duct to the HVAC module.
  5. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  6. Install the center floor duct nuts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the floor duct nuts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  7. IMPORTANT: The rear floor air outlet ducts must be aligned with the corresponding holes in the front carpet.
  8. Reposition the front carpet back into position.
  9. Install the console bracket. Refer to Bracket Replacement - Console Floor in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
  10. Install the front seats. Refer to Seat Replacement - Bucket in Seats.
