Installation Procedure

  1. Install the vent hose.
  2. Install the vent hose to the retainer.
  3. Install the vent hose to the transfer case.

  5. Raise the powertrain until the frame insulators contact the chassis.
  6. Install the frame rear bolts. Refer to Frame Replacement - Front (W/AWD) or Frame Replacement - Front (W/FWD) in Frame and Underbody.
  7. Remove the utility stand.
  8. Connect the intermediate steering shaft to the steering gear. Refer to Intermediate Steering Shaft Replacement in Steering Wheel and Column.
  9. Install the catalytic converter. Refer to Catalytic Converter Replacement in Engine Exhaust.
  10. Lower the vehicle.

  12. Install the transfer case vent hose to the transmission fill tube.
  13. Install the air inlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Intake Duct Replacement in Engine Controls - 3.6L (LY7).
