Spring Shackle (C/K Models): Installation

NOTE:
Do not tighten the fasteners until all the parts have been assembled.
- Install the shackle to the vehicle.
- Install the spring bolt, the washers, and the nut to the shackle. See Figure .
- Install the rear bracket bolt, the washers, and the nut to the shackle. See Figure .
- Tighten the leaf spring to bracket nuts, the leaf spring to shackle nut, and the shackle to bracket nuts. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
- Adjust the spring height between the top surface of the axle jounce pad and the bottom surface of the frame jounce bracket. See Fig 1 .
- Lower the vehicle.
